TWO WITNESSES IN VITERBO (ITALY)
by Giorgio Cardellini init 'was given to man to govern alone for some time trying any form of self-government, but was not successful, then from 1914 satan has taken control over the nations, but failed, ruined land and forced men at great sacrifice and austerity.. 100 years have passed since 1914, jehovah had given one hour to the nations, the time is up, jesus christ came back at the end of 2013 and his slave was found faithful, jehovah himself has anointed with a baptism in the holy spirit, with oil of gladness more than all of his anointed brothers, he has delivered humanity enslaved, he is the chosen one, the four winds have passed (4 comets in the sky of 2013, ison, lovejoy, linear, encke) the last the saints have been chosen and their number is complete, 144,000, the heavenly tribunal was convened and then satan has been judged and fell (daniel 7:26).
1 corinthians 10:13 - what you had to refine it is perfected, it happened!.
the world has got a new jehovah's prophet like elijah.

Here is the funeral talk outline. VERY discraceful.
by stillstuckcruz inthis is truly terrible.
i just love the statement "instead of eulogizing the deceased, use the material in this outline to give a fine witness concerning the truth.
" in other words, utterly disregard the deceased.

My foster parents died within six months of each other 13 years ago, both of them died of cancer. When my foster parents became witnesses it cut us off from my whole family except my unbelieving foster sister. The elder who gave the talk at my foster mother's funeral did a tremendous job of healing old wounds and brining the family together. Less than six months later this same elder (ken howitt) delivered the most disgraceful travesty of a funeral talk that it split the whole family once again. He used it as an excuse to ram their beliefs down my family's throat. He made it quite clear that the only worthwhile thing that my foster father did was to become a witness. My foster sister( who had cared for him in her home through the whole thing was so upset that I thought she was having a break down). I had been out for 5 years at that point. My foster brother and I (he is still very much in) almost had a fist fight. I said that as long as he is a witness I want nothing to do with him. He said,"you never were much of a witness." I said,"Stephen, that is the best thing you have ever said to me." Then the callous bastards used the occasion to try to get me back in! -

How to survive an assembly
by BlackWolf inhey i was just wondering if you guys had any ideas on how to keep my brain occupied while i'm at an assembly tommorow.
maybe besides tallying the number of times they say jehovah and jesus or counting how many people are wearing red.
i want to keep myself from going insane or having some kind of panic attack lol.

News flash - ex-Bethelites protest Watchtower headquarters- Governing Body flees
by Esse quam videri inpandemonium broke out at the headquarters of the watchtower bible and track society as hundreds of former bethel workers protested being released from their assignments and told to vacate the premises.
the governing body members barely escaped the wrath of the mob, some without the shirt on their backs.

The Witnesses Are Really Trying Hard To Get Me Back In
by minimus inat my mom's bed side all i see is either jw family or friends making a concerted effort to have me return to their fold.
evidentlyy, my mom has encouraged this and i'm a trapped prisoner, as they do their best to have me come back.
it's bad enough that i have to endure my mom's dying, now i have to be bombarded with this bs..

Sorry to hear your news minimise. I even had the cold-hearted bastards try it on with me at my father's funeral, which was 6 months after my mother's. "You don't want to die at Armageddon and miss the chance to be reunited with your parents do you?" Classy. -

So sick of the abuse...
by iwasblind ini am still serving as an elder but just hanging in there.
i think their quandry is that they don't see me out in the field, but when they need encouragement and decent prayer they come to me.. i just got off the phone to this poor sister who i have only met twice.
she is not even in my congregation (her sister is).

You sound like a decent elder so be careful because the only decent elder I ever knew drank himself to death. -

Does Anyone Still Believe in God?
by LaurenM indo any of you ex-jw's still believe in god?
even with the new rebranding/softening of this religion, i still don't see how people can believe in him.
the god of the old testimate is an angry murderer who approved rapes and slavery and killed thousands of men, women and children.

Nope. When I was a child I thought as a child, reasoned as a child and believed as a child but when I became a man I put away childish things. -

Are you angry for having been a JW?
by Half banana ini remember seeing the ex-jws parading around outside the assembly like lepers holding placards of hate.
we were the righteous and enlightened ones... and they were lost in outer darkness.
just dont look at them was the standard response to their unwelcome presence..

I was eight years old when my foster-mother,who was a lapsed and bitter Catholic(and therefore a sitting duck)became a witness. I was stuck in it for twenty years out of misguided loyalty to my foster parents. It had a disastrous effect on my emotional development,my career path,my libido and my ability to form friendships and relationships. I have been out for twenty years and I am as angry now as the day I left. -
